Whether you have just surrendered your life to Jesus Christ or rededicated your life to the Lord Jesus, we praise God that you responded to His call. Jesus said, "No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him…" (John 6:44). In authentic conversions, the music, the methods and the messengers are not important. What is important is the Master (Jesus Christ) and the Master’s message (the Gospel). It is our prayer that you would remain faithful to God, continue to yield to the Holy Spirit and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Here are four points to aid you in your Christian growth.
Read the Bible Daily. Just as your natural life needs natural food, your spiritual life needs spiritual food. Spiritual food is found in God’s Word, the Bible. Read the Bible daily so that you may grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray. Prayer is essential. Prayer is conversation with God. Develop the positive habit of starting each day with prayer and then learn to pray throughout the day. Remember that in all conversations (including prayer), we must listen as well as talk.
Go to Church. If you are not already a member, get involved in a church where Jesus Christ is exalted and the Word of God is faithfully proclaimed. Also, begin to fellowship and develop relationships with other Christians who are living for the Lord Jesus.
Be a Witness. Be ready and willing to verbally share your faith in Jesus Christ with others. Also, express your faith in Jesus Christ by the way you live your life each day. "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven"(Matthew 5:16).
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you as you stand firm in the faith.
